Virginia, Oriental/Turkish, Latakia. This blend was made exclusively for Levin Pipes. We struggled to find a lot of history of this product or Barry Levin. As far was we could find, Barry Levin was a tobacconist who helped prop up and popularize the estate pipe market in the 80s, and according to McClelland "Had some very definite ideas about pipe tobacco." McClelland started making blends for him in around '89 to '90. Barry Levin seems to have passed around 1995, and McClelland made a limited 300 tins of Klenderwood in 2005 for the Chicago pipe show in his honor. This particular tin is from 1994.
---While the tin is still entirely sealed, due to the age of the tobacco we cannot guarantee it's quality or for it to be in a good smoking condition. As a result, all sales of vintage pipe tobacco are final and non-refundable.---
